    Pricing, budgets, venues deals, laws, and taxes, plus personnel costs and problems are are demystified in this 120 minute class. We all want to make money right? Find out the areas you may be weak at, and get real world information to strengthen them. Lili VonSchtupp has 10 years of radio production and sales behind her, and has produced over 500 live burlesque events in bars and theaters. With a gallery showing and the Hollywood Burlesque Festival under her belt as well, her unique perspective on turning a profit might change the way you think about what it really takes to produce a successful event.     Get An Act is a six week beginner/intermediate class based on improving the development skills for creating an act. This class is designed to teach you the process to get from idea to a polished act.

    Class Objective:
    Upon completion of this six week course you’ll have a new or improved act with the skills to create complex numbers from start to finish. Including music creation, costume design, makeup and accessories, dance choreography and understanding the details that make the act.

    Class materials and written material are provided with both lecture, and hands on performances taking place.

    Eighteen hours of class time in the six week course.

    February 4th, 2018 – Week One: Stage Persona
    Why we use them and how and when to use for your character.
    February 11th, 2018 – Week Two: Music
    Understanding music and how the journey of dance choreography and stripping relate in burlesque.
    February 18th, 2018 – Week Three: Costuming and Make Up
    Body and facial shape related to costume choices, style in context of the musical choice and the strip.
    February 25th, 2018 – Week Four: Props, Boas, Fans and Gloves
    Usage of props including; boas, fans and glove work in the actual strip you’ve decided to develop.
    March 4th, 2018 – Week Five: Pasties
    Styles, usage and Tassel Twirling. Working numbers.
    March 11th, 2018 – Week Six: Professionalism and Final Touches
    Business, negotiations, ethics, promotion, and emergency kits. Final numbers performance.

    Class Fees: $300

    Get An Act is a six week beginner/intermediate class based on improving the development skills for creating an act. This class is designed to teach you the process to get from idea to a polished act.

    Were doing it in two long glorious days in LAs Vegas as a weekend Seminar.

    Class Objective:
    Upon completion of the two day event you’ll have a new or improved act with the skills to create complex numbers from start to finish. Including music choice and understanding of musicality, costume design for stripping, act/dance choreography, using your clothing as a prop, make up basics for stage, and understanding the details that make an act original, innovative and unique to you.

    Class materials and written material are provided with both lecture, and hands on performances taking place.

    Twelve hours of class time.

    Starting in January, Lili VonSchtupp is taking on private classes. One on one time for consulting. Costumes, Performance, Emcee, Production, Audio Editing, Competition, and more. Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday available. Other times may be workable on a case by case basis.

    Rates are $100 per hour. Blocks of time can be purchased at a discount. Additional studio cost or travel may apply depending on location.
